1 week, a support network, clean foods!
I’m running a Clean Eating Week this week on Facebook, it started today.
I wanted to give some encouragement to the people around me who’ve found it difficult to keep on track and for people who wanted to kick start their health and fitness before the end of 2017 so I decided to create the group.
Groups are a really great way for you to engage with a like minded set of people who have the same goals. Sometimes in life you’ll come across friends or relatives who mean well, but all they’re doing is sabotaging you, they don’t mean to do it (although some do!) but they say things like “oh it’s just one slice, have a little bit it won’t hurt” etc… what they sometimes don’t realise is a little bit could mean you’ll fall off the wagon! So, thats why surrounding yourself with people who are on the same path can really help you achieve your goals as you’re always accountable to someone!
So what is my clean week about?
It’s about taking baby steps to clean out your fridge, your cupboards and start fresh. Eating healthy foods, getting creative in the kitchen, sharing recipes, communicating about your day and then in 7 days noticing how much of a difference it has made to your health (weight), your energy levels and your mood. It’s a 1 week re-fresh, you may want to call it a quick-start or a jumping off point!
What happens after?
Well thats entirely up to you, you can continue with the clean eating , you can add exercise to the mix… or you can go back to your old ways. If you want to stay on this journey then I will be there to lend you a hand, to be your coach, to put plans together for you and help you achieve your health and fitness goals.
